Currently we have some stickers and we also have a leaflet ready for printing after the current situation has calmed down somewhat.
Our social media presence isn't great since we hate it and don't have Facebook accounts so we do really need to work on that side. Please discuss any suggestions.
We do also need to make more contact with the council and definitely attend meetings, assuming such things remain an option.
Hello! I wonder whether we should try and approach smaller councils too for towns in the county and see if any have councillors on them that have the same views as us and can oppose 5g in the way glastonbury has etc,
Yes, that's a good idea as I can't really see us getting anywhere with NCC. We could write a generic letter to send out to all the councils with our leaflet and see what response we get. 😊
@norfolk5gawareness good plan so what key points do we want to raise, obviously our concern, examples of opposition elsewhere in the country what else needs to be said
@Casey Yes, all of the above and definitely the major health concerns plus also perhaps the duty of care to their constituents. I'll have a look and see what other campaigners have written (particularly the successful ones.) I've actually been meaning to write a template for folk to adapt - time to get moving on that one! 😉
yes that sounds great and the liability of the council, let me know what you find
Will do. Give me a couple of days and I'll send you some ideas to see what you think. Enjoy the sunshine today!
Hi Casey, sorry for the delay! Just sending you a couple of emails from my personal account including an update from John Kitson about what's happening in Devon. Not great news I'm afraid but to be expected and I still think we should go ahead with the letters. I'll send you a draft of one to peruse and see what you think.
